How do Georgia Cyber Academy (GCA) families and staff members celebrate the end of the school year? They attend end-of-the-year events such as the one held at Warbington Farms in Cumming, Georgia, on May 17.  The three-generation farm belongs to the family of one of GCA’s own teachers, Delana Heard.

The farm offers many activities such as hayrides, a petting zoo barn, a corn crib, slides, and other fun things for kids to do. A great time was had by all who attended the event.

Warbington Farms plants approximately three acres of strawberries each year for members of the community to come and enjoy the experience of U-PICK.

Ms. Heard was excited to share her farm life with the staff and families of GCA. “Our family is honored to be able to share our love for farming with our community,” she said.

GCA end-of-the-year events were held all over the state of Georgia, including at the Tellus Museum in Cartersville, Skidaway Island State Park in Savannah, and Piedmont Park in Atlanta.
