Mike Kraft, Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications at K12, brings more than 30 years of experience in driving team performance, improving business operations, and achieving financial goals.
At K12, he is responsible for developing the company’s communications strategy, leading a world-class team to execute it, working closely with the company’s leadership on strategic communications activities related to K12’s brand and reputation, crisis communications, and serving as the company’s chief spokesperson. He also oversees the company’s investor relations, executive communications, and employee communications functions.
Prior to joining K12 in 2013, Mike was the Chief Operating Officer for Applus Technologies, Inc. where he oversaw that company’s move into vehicle telematics. He has also held senior leadership positions in high growth technology companies, managing communications, finance, marketing and business operations functions, including XO Communications, Teligent, MCI Communications and Nortel.
Mike holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Goizueta School of Management at Emory University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Rochester.
