Video: How K¹² Online Public Schools Work

Youth Connection Charter School - A high school credit recovery program.

The lives and circumstances of our students are the driving force behind our company's mission, and it is what leads us to create unique and innovative educational opportunities. One such opportunity is the  Youth Connection Charter SchoolChicago's first and only online high school dropout recovery program.

Let's face it: many of our students have life challenges that have led them to online education.  At-risk students or those who have dropped out of high school need the flexibility and support it can offer. Youth Connection Charter School (YCCS) Virtual High School students, who range in age from 18 to 21, take online courses delivered by K¹² and work with teachers to complete the credits they need to receive their diplomas. What's great about this type of learning environment is that it combines online work, classroom work and flexible hours to create a unique high school learning experience.
