October is Bullying Prevention Awareness Month

Hello!

My name is Zach Veach, and I’m a proud student of Ohio Virtual Academy. Being only 17, I may have a few more responsibilities than the normal teenager that wouldn’t allow me to “fit” into public school but I also had a few problems that any kid can face in public school. To tell how I am where I am today, I need to go back to the start of it all, when I was just a young boy that wanted to drink the milk at the Indianapolis 500 one day. 

The thought of online education began to bounce around the walls of my home between my parents when I was 12 years old, in 6th grade, when I started to chase the dream I was overly obsessed with since I was old enough to walk, and that was becoming a professional racecar driver.
