Meet the K¹² Community: Ben Scandlen, K¹² Vice President of Digital Marketing

My name is Ben Scandlen and I am the new Vice President of Digital Marketing here at K¹².  Having three little ones under five years old and wanting the best for them, I am inspired to work for a company whose vision is changing education.   I don’t know how much I will actually be blogging, but I did want to take a few minutes to introduce myself and pass on a few “new guy” observations while I am still in the new guy phase. 

First, I wanted to let you know how impressed I am with the employees I have met here at K¹².  They are intelligent and very competent, but most importantly they are really driven by the desire to see the students achieve their best.  It is true up and down the company and it is amazing to see such spirit.  

Secondly, a comment on your passion.  Even in my short time, it comes through so strongly and makes such a difference. I think a lot of what gets the employees going is your enthusiasm and passion.  And every time I go to the K¹² Facebook page there is another question from a potential student and there is always a K¹²’er there to answer.    

I am very excited to be working with such great employees and working for such great customers.
